User DATA on RISK!!
We all use Browser Extensions/ Plugins /add-ons/ apps that can run alongside with the browser for some more features and to make our work easy.
Recently popular browser extensions like ad blockers have been caught interfering personal data of users. They are harvesting browsing history, exposing tax returns, medical records, credit card information and other sensitive data in the public domain. An Independent cybersecurity researcher Sam Jadali, found that the data leaked to a fee-based company Nacho Analytics that gives unlimited access to websites analytics data. This data could be purchased for a little, from $10 to $50.
